DIRECTORS, STAFF HONORED FOR SERVICE TO NRD

The Lower Loup Natural Resources District honored members of the Board of Directors and NRD staff members for their service to the District at the NRD’s Annual Awards Dinner on December 15, 2011 in Ord.

NRD Board Chairman Gary Kruse (right) presents a certificate to NRD Director Craig Frenzen of Fullerton (second from left) for 10 years and Conservation Technician Ed Drozd of Genoa for 15 years of service to the Lower Loup NRD.
NRD Board Chairman Gary Kruse of Columbus and General Manager Butch Koehlmoos (right) presented certificates honoring staff for their work for the NRD to the following individuals.  Back Row: Koehlmoos, Assistant Manger Russell Callan (10 years), Information/Education Coordinator Larry Schultz (10 years), District Engineer Robert Mohler (30 years) and Kruse.  Front Row: Cheryl Hornickel, Programs Assistant (30 years) and Conservation Technician Tyler Collier (10 years).

Lower Loup NRD Directors receiving awards were Joseph Citta, Jr. of Columbus for 20 years of service, Henry Thoene of Burwell for 20 years of service, Craig Frenzen of Fullerton for 10 years of service and Darwin Sieh of Columbus for 10 years of service.


NRD Water Resources Specialist Del Harris of Burwell - 5 years, and NRD Director Henry Thoene of Burwell (20 years) receives a certificate honoring his 35 years of service from General Manager Leon Butch Koehlmoos and NRD Board Chairman Gary Kruse (left).

Eight NRD staff members were also recognized at the awards dinner. NRD Conservation Technician Dan Ray of Spalding was recognized for 35 years of service. District Engineer Robert Mohler, and Programs Assistant Cheryl Hornickel, both of Ord, recieved certificates for 30 years of service. Assistant Manager Russell Callan, Information/Education Coordinator Larry Schultz, and Water Resources Technician Tyler Collier, all of Ord, receieved certificates for 10 years of service. NRD Water Resources Specialist Dell Harris of Burwell was honored for 5 years of service to the District.

The District's Annual Awards Dinner was held at the Veterans Club in Ord following the December 2011 NRD Board of Directors meeting.
