The next meeting of the Lower Loup Natural Resources District Board of Directors will be held Thursday, October 26, 2017. The meeting will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the NRD headquarters, 2620 Airport Drive, in Ord.  The meeting agenda is available here.

NRD Arboretum Benefits From OHS Students' "Community Service Day"

Lower Loup NRD Board Okays New Irrigated Acres

Applications for a total of 1,462 new irrigated acres in the North Loup River and Beaver Creek Sub-Basins have been approved by the Lower Loup Natural Resources District Board of Directors.  NRD General Manager Leon “Butch” Koehlmoos said that there were 28 applications for new irrigation, 16 in the North Loup River Basin and 12 in the Beaver Creek Basin.  He said that the total amount of irrigated…

Palmer High School Ag Teacher and FFA Advisor Dennis Mottl has been named the recipient of the Natural Resources Educator of the Year Award for 2017.  The Nebraska Association of Resources Districts presents the award annually to recognize outstanding natural resources education efforts in Nebraska.
