LLNRD Board Meeting And Budget Hearing August 24th

The next meeting of the Lower Loup Natural Resources District Board of Directors will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017. The meeting will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the NRD headquarters, 2620 Airport Drive, in Ord.  A public hearing on the FY 2018 Budget will begin at 5:15 p.m.  The meeting agenda is available here.

Soil Health Conference To Be Held In Albion September 6th

Nebraska's NRD System Celebrates 45 Years

This month, Nebraska’s Natural Resources Districts celebrate 45 years of service to Nebraska.  The NRD system got its start in July 1972 and the Districts have been helping Nebraskans to conserve the state’s natural resources ever since.  Natural Resources Districts were formed by legislation passed by the Unicameral that merged several existing agencies, including Soil and Water Conservation Districts. …
