March 10, 2017

The Lower Loup Natural Resources District Board gave approval to rules and regulations that implement the Erosion and Sediment Control Act.  The rules, which were approved by a unanimous vote, are meant to reduce damage from wind erosion, reduce storm water runoff and flooding danger, reduce sediment damage, reduce non-point pollution from sedimentation, preserve land values and productivity, and safeguard the citizens of the NRD.

A copy of the rules and regulations may be obtained at the Lower Loup Natural Resources District office in Ord or by clicking here.  The Lower Loup NRD Board of Directors approved the rules at its April 27, 2017 meeting.
