Campground Hosts Being Sought for Davis Creek

The Lower Loup Natural Resources District is seeking volunteers to serve as Campground Hosts at Davis Creek Recreation Area south of North Loup. The Campground Host program is open to those over the age of 18 who are willing to spend a portion of their summer at the recreation area.

Hosts are provided a camping site with electrical and water service and get to assist fellow campers at Davis Creek Recreation Area.  The duties include some reservation management, communicating any comments and concerns to the appropriate parties, and contacting LLNRD staff and law enforcement about emergencies when necessary. 

Interested persons should be outgoing, willing to devote a minimum of three weeks as a volunteer, and be available to answer and assist campers when at the recreation area.  Any interested party should contact the Lower Loup NRD at 308-728-3221.
