June 07, 2019

The Lower Loup NRD has distributed the latest edition of it's district-wide newsletter, entitled IN THE LOUP, to residents in all 16 counties that make up the NRD.  WATER MATTERS, a newsletter targeted toward residents of Phase II and III Water Quality Areas, is also available.

The quarterly newsletter covers a variety of topics relating to natural resources and the work of the Lower Loup Natural Resources District. Topics covered in the latest issue include the Nebraska Supreme Court ruling on LLNRD groundwater rules, Wheeler County nitrate concerns, groundwater regulation changes, a new NRD Board member, a watershed planning award, infrared photography as a management tool, an Environmental Trust grant, and a message from District General Manager Russell Callan.

IN THE LOUP is published on a quarterly basis, and is available here.

WATER MATTERS is published annually and is available here.
