PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER

Work through Sept 30; 2-4 hours daily M-F, most weekends; Duties include clean and maintain facilities at Davis Creek Rec Area, including restrooms and shower house; collect campsite fees, oversee camping reservations/campsite operations; monitor camp daily; communicate with the NRD, camp hosts, and facility visitors. Must have valid driver’s license, cell phone, basic computer skills, & be able to work outdoors. Contact Lower Loup NRD, Ord, 308-728-3221, by Aug 2. EOE.

DISTRICT ENGINEER

Provide civil engineering services; project coordination and inspection.  Work with other agencies, including project permits, design and construction.  Indoor and outdoor working conditions-flood control, drainage, erosion control, and other ag and natural resources work.  PE in civil or agricultural engineering required and experience in hydrology, geology and agriculture necessary. $70-80K annual salary, plus full benefits including health (full employee/partial family), dental, life insurance & retirement plan. DAVIS CREEK RECREATION AREA CAMP HOST 

Volunteer or volunteers to serve as Campground Hosts at Davis Creek Recreation Area south of North Loup throughout August and up to Labor Day. The Campground Host program is open to those over the age of 18 who are willing to spend a portion of their summer at the recreation area.  Hosts are provided a camping site with electrical and water service and get to assist fellow campers at Davis Creek Recreation Area.  The duties include some reservation management, communicating any comments and concerns to the appropriate parties, and contacting LLNRD staff and law enforcement about emergencies when necessary. Interested persons should be outgoing, willing to volunteer for a two-week stint during the month of August into Labor Day, and be available to answer and assist campers when at the recreation area.  Any interested party should contact the Lower Loup NRD at 308-728-3221.
